How to Do Exponents
You first look at your base wich is the bottom number.
Then look your exponent wich is the top number.
The expnonent tells you how many times to multiply the base times itself.
example:two to the third power=8 because 2x2x2=8
Vocabulary
Base- like I said is the bottom number
Exponent- also like I said is the top number
How its used
Exponents and scientific notation are used in telling the speed of light without writing all the zeros

Great job! You did a good job explaining how to do the topic and the vocabulary. I'd like to see some real world information in your application and more detail in general in your posts. The site you linked to had some hard stuff on it. Did you understand very much of it?
